Scope and Mission
Providing a high-quality platform for the dissemination of impactful scientific research.
Aims and Scope
The Himalayan Journal of Basic and Applied Sciences is a peer-reviewed, quarterly, national journal, published under the auspices of the Orchid Society of Assam. It serves as a dynamic forum for researchers, academics, and professionals to disseminate high-quality scientific work across a broad spectrum of disciplines.
The journal welcomes original research articles and review articles from diverse fields of science, with particular emphasis on studies that contribute to both basic scientific understanding and applied innovations.
Open Access Policy
As an open-access journal, all published content is freely available to readers worldwide without subscription barriers. This model enhances visibility, encourages interdisciplinary collaboration, and increases the impact of published work.
By removing paywalls, the journal supports equitable dissemination of scientific knowledge and fosters the growth of research communities, particularly in emerging and resource-limited regions.
